Grant Details

Each year, 20 Indian students are supported under this scholarship. However, the Cornell University Tata Scholarship amount only covers the recipient’s tuition and fees.

Since this a need-based scholarship, it is ensured that the recipients receive funding to complete their four-year undergraduate degree. For programs that require ten-semesters of full-time enrollment (for instance B.Arch), funds will only be provided till eight semesters. Scholarship applications for the upcoming session will be accepted from November 1, 2023 to January 2, 2024. The Cornell University assures to provide Tata Scholarship funding as long as Tata Scholars have financial need.
